We will be happy to renew items and place holds on items for you! Just call the library 605-773-7421 Every Sunday and Wednesday are "Fine Free Days" at Rawlins Library! Bring any overdue item into the Library and we will cancel the fine. Remember, you must bring the overdue item to the circulation desk rather than returning it in an outside return box.
General Information
	Your library card is the best charge card you will ever own because it gives you free access to a world of information, education and entertainment; plus, there is no fee as long as you return borrowed materials by their due dates. Your Rawlins Municipal Library card is free when you live in the City of Pierre, the City of Fort Pierre, or Hughes County. To obtain a card, come in to the library, complete an application and provide proof of residency. A parent or legal guardian must authorize the application for a minor.	You are welcome to access information via the Internet at our facility. Please read the Rawlins Municipal Library Internet Use Policy prior to using a Library Internet computer for the first time. A parent or legal guardian must authorize a minor's use of our Internet computers. For your convenience, you may return videos, DVDs, audio books, CDs, CD-ROMs, music cassettes, books, comics and magazines in the outside materials return boxes any time! Please return art prints in the library.
	Public Internet Access Computers
	Rawlins Library has several internet access computers available for your use. In addition, we are a wireless "hot-spot," so you may access the internet conveniently from our building through your own wireless laptop. Please read the Rawlins Municipal Library Internet Use Policy prior to using our computers for the first time. A parent or legal guardian must authorize a minor's access to the Internet on our computers.
